Osteospermum 3
Hi all.
This shot is of an osteo bloom that I shot 'crammed' through some other blooms. I liked the light on the bloom, the subtle colors (especially the blueish purple), and the haze created by the other blooms.
Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan - The ever so slight turn the OSP makes to the right strengthens the composition. I find the wash a little strong but I am sure it borders on personal likes.
Excellent and unique image, Nathan. I like the effect of the cram and the perpective from underneath showing the petals radiating out 360. The color in both the petals and wash in terrific. I like the haze from the cram, but, like Ram, would like to see just a little more clarity if you can squueze it out via processing. A great image regardless. Because of the softness and nice wash, the yellow color, and the empty space on the right, I think this would make a terrific bg for a "get well soon" card (I know you do some cards, and you might think about using this one).
The effect given by the out of focus surrounding blooms has worked wonderfully well Nathan, I love the creativity and the final look. Lovely soft colour too.
Gary.
I love the comp, the lovely soft colors, and the haze created by the cram. Very nice, Nathan!
OOOOOO
ooooo! . . or something like that came out of my mouth when this opened. Fabulous result here Nathan. One of your best. I hope you will take that as the high compliment meant. Superb!

The trouble with crams is that you can always wish for a little more or a little less clarity! Frankly, I like this very much just as it is. I wouldn't change a thing!
I love the subtlety created by the haze of yellow. Great composition and colors!

Excellent results that us mere mortals could only dream of achieving.

This is a delight! Well deserving of EP!! Larry
Hey Nathan, I know I haven't posted over in flora in a few years....but I must confess...I still secretly peak over there once in awhile just to check out your work. It's still as good as I remember and sometimes seems even better (if that is possible). Congrats on the WP.
Cheers, Mark
