Still going back to my early spring trip, trying to pick up some stuff I didn't process the first time through or didn't like the processing. This one had an ugly reed right through the Spoonbill's bill that just put a stop to the flow. I finally decided to go back and remove it because I really like the landing position.

You did a great job in removing the reed. The photograph show good action and great color on the Spoonbill.

Dennis I can't see where the removal took place, you have caught the landing action spot on!
Keith.
Nice landing pose on this one Dennis. Good techs on the bird as well.
What a gorgeous and colorful bird and you nailed the shot perfectly! Good job on removing the reed and a great stop action shot with full extension everywhere. The water drops are icing on the cake and accent the 3D effect very nicely. The large version makes a big difference. It has a far greater sense of presence and really shows off the details. Great shot, Dennis
Nice capture, exposure and PS work, Dennis. It can be difficult to expose those pinks correctly, but nailed it.
Sweet flight action you captured here Dennis. Wonderful details, I like how the spoonbill stands out so nicely from its surroundings, but at the same time keeping its envronment an important part of the story.
Excellent Work!
