Beautiful, Neil. I've only seen these twice and never with anywhere near this nice a vantage point. Excellent detail in the side of the bird and to the beak. Might do a bit of sharpening on the crown. I like the bg.

Incredible colors on this beautiful bird and an exceptional capture, Neil! Focus and exposure are spot on and the background holds some interest without being overbearing. The large version is particularly nice.

A wonderful portrait of this handsome fellow Neil. Great pose, excellent details. A very pleasing composition, I like how the oof background leaves frame the bunting.
Sweet One!!!

Neil, Do you have enough frame to crop it less tightly? I wonder if the overall composition might be sweeter if you can. Although some others are not fans of significant cloning, I suspect that if the curved OOF branch and leaf above him were gone the bird would stand out more. Great detail and wonderful colors.

Really Nice. If it were mine, I would bring the overall exposure down a tad, and I think that the detail would go from great to stunning.

Very nice find Neil. I have personally only had 1 opportunity at these and it lasted for an entire 2 seconds with FG grasses blocking my view. I would be happy to have one like this in my portfolio. Nice work.
