Here are the two Gadwalls I posted earlier, together this time.  Taken at the same time but I didn't use the digital zoom for this one.  It is cropped for composition though.

Sony ILCE-6000 (a6000), SEL-55210 @ 210, ISO-100, f8.0, 1/1250, handheld

Very nice, Gary.  These were really cooperative subjects.  In this case maybe a bit lower angle, if you could have gotten it, would have made the ducks pop a bit more.

Gary,

There is a lot right in this photo, good light, good color, in focus, and good detail.  Too bad the ducks are facing away from  you.

The ducks' angle to you isn't ideal, and the shot would be better, I think, with a lower angle, but still be nice and both birds nicely crisp. Good work.

Very nice shot of this pair Gary, nice depth of field, soft light and I like the water colors. devil

I really like how the reflections merge with the shadows on the bottom, and the colors and definition are really excellent. I checked the images with digital zoom and find them to be very acceptab;e. There is some noise and/or artifacts on the watre, but the birds look very good!
