Here's a shot of a Bokmakierie (a type of Bush Shrike) from West Coast National Park in South Africa. The background is blooming wildflowers. This male has a beakful of food for his young. I have recently gone through my 3 trips to South Africa and created a gallery on Zenfolio with them, if anyone wants to view it is here

Nate,
The only thing you cannot capture is the magnificent song of this beautiful bird, this is great
Very nice Nate! The color palette (soft wildflower BG) makes this one most appealing..
Excellent
Nice one Nate ! I love their sound, but you framed it very nicely as well - almost makes me hear the sound again

Sweet One Nate!
Love your African Gallery!!!
Nice image Nate. Having a meal in the beak is always a good thing. Nice clean BG and colors look natural and light looks very good. Good work!
