The rains stopped and I finally got some better light. The position of this female was good, but not as good as some of my previous captures. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

5 commentsSuperb detail, Jerry, and the nice blue bg works well with the colors of the Kite. Well done.
Another nice image Jerry. I do wish you had a touch more room at the tail on this one. Not sure if this is a crop or not and if you have the canvas? No other nits from me...nice work!
Wonderful closeup, Jerry! We have Kites but I've never caught them doing anything but soaring high out of reach. I hope you fared well in the massive flooding.
Nicely detailed image Jerry and a wonderful subject as well. You must be happy
, cheers, Hans
Jerry,
Now I know what a Mississipi ite looks like
For me it is similar to a Black Shouldered, but with Grey shoulders.
Wonderful image
