Cute beyond words. My only rather small nit is I would like more canvass on the right so as not to cut him off. Otherwise, great image.

Hi Allen,

Wonderful pose with ideal detail. I agree with Jerry about more canvas on the right, but it certainly is not a deal-breaker...................Jim

Thanks for the nice comments.  Here's the original, before cropping.  I wanted to emphasize the face and pose.  I guess I could have cropped a bit further down the neck.  What do you think?

Allen,

Seeing theoriginal, I think the crop is perfectly OK, adding a little more of the body would have made little difference for me.

Great quality retained given crop size, the camera and lens combination you used is great, I bought my wife the sameenlightened

Allen: reallylike the pose and detail you've captured. I think the way you've cropped the photo put the emphasis where it belongs, on the otters' upper torso and paws. Richard

Seeing the original, the crop you chose is spot on.

Truly cute, Allen. I definitely prefer yor original crop, I think that a crop further down would not work, and would go for the full image only if you had caught the full back legs and tail. I think that the portrait that you present is the way to go.
