Indian Elephant romancing the Sal tree. This tusker was in masth, it came to the Sal tree to give himself a good scratch after the great mud-bath.

I can only think of MAGNIFICENT

Hi Jagdeep,
Love the lighting. And this one is an absolute study in the use of texture - nicely done. One observation (I wouldn't call it a nit) - after exploring the subject my eye was drawn down the "corridor" on the left side of the frame (which I think is a nice feature) - but was a bit disappointed that the eyeflow was ended by the squarish object that looks like (but I might be wrong) a truck. I'm not a big fan (at all) of cloning and/or removing objects from images, but I think a case could be made for losing that object...
Cheers and thanks for sharing this one!

Thanks Ken!
Thanks Brad! It's a jeep. BTW, I'm in complete agreement with what you said.

This is a real attention holder. I, too, like it for texture and lighting. I am not sure if he is romancing or just working off excess energy! Regarding Jeep, I agree with a little erasure in this instance.
Great image of this tusker, Jagdeep! The textures of its skin is showing perfectly.
