Ken
This is really beautiful having two elephants having a conversation in this field of flowers. I was in Ngorongoro in Feb some years ago and the place was quite dry and dusty. Never expect to see such lush fields with wildflowers. We had 2 days here and the place is really magical and teaming with wildlife. The most memorable one was a live kill by a lone lioness.

Beautiful shot... Couldn't have asked better FG and BG setting than this... and those clouds are a bonus plus.

Two elephants in flowers? What's not to like? Your Weekly Pick of the single elephant had a better "feel" to it for some reason. Perhaps the light, at the moment the Weekly Pick image was taken, was a bit better. Regardless, the two elephants make this special.

What an awesome setting to get these elephant in Ken. I was thinking about cropping out the clouds but after taking a look with them out (with a piece of paper over the top) I think they definetly add to the shot.

Gary,
We were in the crater late April, there had been plenty of rain.
Thanks everybody for your comments

Lovely Ken. I like your placement of the elephants in the frame. Very serene view. It might be worth trying to selectively increase contrast in the background to make the mountains more visible.
Cheers,
Hisham.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS Ken !!!! If I have to find a nit that would be the extra space to the left of the two elephants. I would prefer to center them in the frame.

A very nice setting indeed! Great poses too.
I like the hint of low-crater-cloud on top but can't help wanting to see one with a tad more focal length focusing on just the elephants and the immediate flowers around them?
