Trying and Drying was the routine for this female Osprey with her eye on the prize. A never give up attitude would eventually allow her to catch the fish that was missed on two previous attampts. 80% of full frame, hand held from boat.

I really like this a lot. The feather detail is impressive as are those long claws. Well done.

Sweet one, Mike.  Excellent detail and great exposure against the high key bg.

Magestic looking warrior! Perfect, although you could stand to bring down that top knot, which is almost too hot.cool

Really cool high-key shot Mike. Super pose from the Osprey with sharp details. The white spot on top of her head is a little hot, maybe you can recover some detail there. Wish it was mine, nice job!  devil

Excellent catch Mike, I love the feather detail and dropped wings of the bird. I was fortunate to get some images of these birds in my area a month or so ago, but I never could get close you've done here. Nice work.

Wow! +2 1/3, really? Was the sky the meter killer? With that in mind, you may want to bring the white on the top of the head down a bit as Steve suggest, It does seem a little hot to me as well. Nice High key work.
