'Painted Cardinal'
Once again trying my hand at Digital Art and totally inspired by the first class images in the Gallery.
This was created using Topaz Simplify, an original image layer at 13% opacity for the eye detail and various adjustments and Topaz Filters for the tones and mood I was look'n for.

Mike, this is a beauty.  Setting the details in the bird against the simplified background works very well.  I'm especially attracted to the colors and textures in the branch.

Very artistic.devil  The Cardinal shows sharp detail and works well with the background.  Your processing brings out nice detail and colors in the branch.

I really like what you are doing with Topaz filters.  The detail in the eye... is that the horizon with clouds!  The texture of the feathers is amazing.  I like the way the background and the branch talk to each other.  Well done
