We have had an incredible crop of day lilies this year but the show was almost over a couple of weeks ago. Now some of the plants are producing a second bloom which they rarely do. This is one of the more abundant bud bunches, promising more flowers soon. I did some desaturation, added some haze and the vignette. All comments welcome.>=))>

8 commentsBill - Very dreamy. From all indications here, Daylilies may not put up a great show this year (so also Roses).
Haze works well here specially connecting it with the second time bloom. The only thing I would suggest is to mask and remove vignette effect from the tallest bud on the left.
Well done, Bill. Very pretty and artistic with the uniform color and softness. Certainly a different daylilly look for you, and one to save for your daylily portfolio.
Hi Bill
Scott's coment echoed my thoughts perfectly i too love the uniform color and softness

The desaturation and haze is a masterful and delicate touch, Bill. Almost a duotone. Well done!
Very artistic image of this bunch of buds, Bill! I like the soft hazy effect your created.
A really strong image, Bill - as good as it gets in my view ! The buds have an extraordinary presence in this lovely lighting - and the processing is first class. Up there for me with your best
I love the dreamlike quality of this photo. The various shades of green blend well together.
There is something special in this image cleat and soft at the same time, also for the monochrome composition. I love it Bill. I am waiting for the photos pf the flowers that are coming.
