I like the detail of the white blossom and the well placed plane of focus. I like it that the BG is well blurred. Good solid photo.

Hi Ian,

It is very wet here in Michigan too.  I like the square format with border.  There are some nice details and color in the apple blossoms and the simple BG works well in the comp..........................Jim

Ian, this shows off your apple blossoms very well.  You've got good color in the buds, and fine open bloom and a nicely angled stem.

Nice color, detail and background. I wish there was just a bit more dof for the unopened blooms. In the larger image is shows a bit of degadation from the sizing for the internet.

Ian - I specially like the bracketing of the main bloom by those nice spherical buds. Exposure on the white if optimal and has retained all the micro details.

Kindly consider uploading a high rez file when you upload the large version. Somehow on my monitor it appears to show signs of pixellation.

Very nice, Ian. I like the way you composed this to isolate this single blossom. I like the comp with the blossom "looking" back toward the viewer.

I see that an excellent shot was left in your sping harvest. Good composition and pure colors. The square format is a good choise for the round design.
