Band-winged Dragonlet - (Erythrodiplax umbrata)

Slightly bigger than a large damselfly, first time I've seen it here in my area.

F/22, 1/320th, ISO 640, 5DM2, 300mm f/2.8 + 2x ext with fill @ 12:02pm. Clear & sunny.

Excellent details in the eye, thorax, and the wing pointing towards the camera set against a fine background, Howard.  It's a well posed beauty.

Excellent all around, Howard, but I especially like the pose, which makes the DF look almost like an extension of the twig. The detail and light are excellent as well. As I said, excellent all around. devil

Howard, I like very much this pose. A simple and clean image. It looks like the dragonfly is smiling.
