Beach Rocks

I took a low tide beach walk with the dog yesterday morning. The beaches are mostly empty and quite peaceful early.

Nice! The two stones contrast well with the sand, and I like the flow lines. There are three small white spots that you might consider cloning, but that's minor. I like how the kelp stalks add a diagonal dimension.

Your beach walks have been productive, sir.

Beautiful and intriguing shot Harley, one I can stare at happily for a good while.  Great job seeing a wonderful composition where most wouldn't have.

This is superb, Harley !  Full of incident and texture, the image is highly evocative of the play of sea and wind on the sands and works also as a beautiful abstract at the same time. devil devil

Yeah, I think the beech rocks too, I just don't get there very often. enlightened  This is a great take on those two stones and the fine lines and textures in the sand surrounding them.  Very well seen.

Great image, Harley, and the processing is spot on. I wonder how it might look rotated 180 degrees?

Harley, this is a great closeup take on this small beach scene collection. The light seems perfect here too for this type of work. Exposure seems just right to me also. Very nice......laugh

I can only hope that, as Maggie ages, she will continue to have the patience a good dog must have for a continually distracted photographer dad.  I love this one, Harley.  Wonderful textures, the sea grasses providing a soft contrast to the stones, and the shifting beach sands lending to sense of motion.  It's a good thing she really does like you.

Love the brightness of the rocks (especially the rock to the right), compared to the muted appearance of the sand.
