An image from probably my best ever Cheetah cub sighting in Lewa conservancty, Kenya.
This is one of the 4 cubs for whom Mum caught breakfast (a young Sharpe's Gazelle).
Mum dragged the kill into the shade of our vehicle and the cubs were very curious.

3 commentsWhat a face! A lower perspective would have been nice, but it probably wasn't possible. Must have been a thrill being this close.
Wonderful close encounter! The red fleck on the nose is a great eye anchor. Do they make subjects any more cute than these little guys?
Jerry,
Thanks
Lon,
The only thing that comes near in my view is a baby Jackal, but I have yet to see a Desert Fox.
