Cloudy sunset at Seljalandsfoss. The only "selfie" on my month-long journey in Scandinavia this summer. I hope you like it. ;-)

impressive view, well seen and captured, much better than a cellphone selfie :)

Very nice setup with typical Icelandic summer weather.  Was it taken with a Viking selfie staff?

Very neat scene, Basil. The view from this spot is amazing too. For me it's all about the unlimited water this land always has in comparison to our lack of it here in So Cal.....enlightened

What a lovely point of view. The fact that you (the photographer) are part of the scene makes this all the more special for me.

This is a great shot and stunning picture. I think if you wore a more brightly coloured jacket it would have added something special too. Would have liked to know what your settings were.

Thanks! I agree about the jacket, but that's what I had with me. :-) Settings: 18 mm @ f/13, 1 sec exposure for the water flow, processed from a single RAW file.

Well, that's sure a nice spot to watch the sunset. A couple of minor items...there's a bright spot just to your left, and the two people near the base of the falls are both eyegrabbers. I like the colors and the water looks very nice.

Ha!! I had to go to the big version just to see what you looked like!!!!  sad

I like the lush foliage, and the dimensional feel to this. The brightness in the middle, with the bright waterfall and the darker clouds in the background; it really gives it depth. It's like you caught a moment in time.  Nice!
