Orchard Oriole female giving me the 'eye' a couple of days ago. I've spotted the male counterpart, but so far he's been out of range.

I would've liked a bit more DOF, but sometimes you just take what you get & roll with it..

F/7.1, 1/320th, ISO 500, 5DM2, 300mm f/2.8 + 3x ext. @ 4:16 with some light cloud cover.

Thanx for lookin' & have a great weekend!crying

Good title-very apt. Really like the pose and the complimentary background. Graham

Great pose, Howard.  I really like that head turn.  It's interesting that the breast color is so close to that of the juvenile Goldfinches-they really blend into the leaves.

blushWonderful title fit for this one, Howard. The pose is is excellent along with the amazing detail in the feathers throughout. The texture of the feathers provides the look or feel of being right there......devil

I really like the pose here Howard.  The subdued colors and the BG go well together.  DOF is not a problem.  Perhaps a tiny bit brighter?

I like the attitude of this bird (so nice pose) and the complimentary BG is very nice. Good work Howard.
