I like the detail, head to toe, here with the depth of field giving you a blurred background. At f4.5 I might have expected some blurred edges on the subject, but not so. You nailed this one.

A very pleasing chimp portrait, Ken.
A species I would love to spend time with one day.

The expression says I don't really give a damn, one way or another
And he/she looks like an older chimp, so I can indentify
Well done Ken!

Thanks everybody.
My use of a 300mm F4 was determined by weight, this place is extremely hilly and walking with a heavy lens at my age is not so much fun, plus you are required to wear mask which does not add to your ability to breathe.
Morkel,
This is probably your best place to view Chimps, but do not fall for the expensive camps. everybody sees the same chimps as the sightings are regulated by the researchers.

The foot makes a great focal point. Interesting capture!
