Another of my favorite water lilies. I could not get close to this one but I liked the effect of the water BG so I actually like the wider view. All comments welcome.>=))>

Very nice, Bill. Well composed, and I like the oof bg. I also like the dapled light on the lily.

A beautiful work, Bill, both the sharp subject and the emotive, creative background. I love the image.

Bill, beautiful light and elegant flower. I like very much the water motion in the background. Very nice!

I agree about the effects of the water. It gives a nice sense of depth. The lily is stiffly perfect, with another nice supporting cast of water and pads.

Normally uneven lighting does not work on flowers, but with the beautiful background this waterlily becomes three dimensional. Nicely viewed and captured.

Hi Bill, i love the background and composition here - really does bring out the lily. Of course, since you can't do anything about it retrospectively not much point speculating about softer light on the lily but I really would have loved to have seen this shot with a diffusor over the flower head ...
Cheers, Mark

What sets this one apart for me, Bill, is the texture of the water in the BG. I love those lines. Very, very nice.
