Wispy Elowah

More wind than water this time of year.  Worked hard to make this one natural despite some (hopefully subtle) use of HDR.

Canon 5DMk2, EOS 16-35 at 16mm, Polarizier.  Images from 1/10 to 1/90 sec, F8, Iso 800

The waterfall almost seems to be flowing from the sky.  perfect sutter speed IMO.  I especially like how the light outlines the rocks below.  This is of course a personal preference, but I think the greens may be a little ver saturated.

This is very colorful, Daniel. I've never used HDR so I cannot say I'd be good at critiquing that aspect, other then to say it looks natural to me. I like seeing the wispy waterfall fighting the wind here trying to make a straight drop. Gives a little more feel of some action to the scene overall.......laugh

Daniel, This is very nice. I like the comp and enjoy the looks of the wispy falls. It looks really hight too. The clouds add a great touch as well. The green / yellow does look a little saturated on my monitor but the sky looks great.

Very nice, Daniel. The slight HDR doesn't bother me--it works. You might consider burning down the bright cloud just above the lip of the falls. For some reason it catches my eye. I like the wispy water, especially where it spillos over the rocks at the bottom. The lush greens add a nice touch.

Nice, subtle, effective use of HDR- I was thinking you had great control of the dynamic range in the scene, and then saw your comment. Doesn't have a "bad" HDR look to it. The wispy clouds are great at mirroring the falling water.

Beautiful look at this falls, Daniel.  Love the feel of motion from the wind.  The mild HDR looks fine to me.
