This is pretty. I like the side lighting. I would prefer that the cloud on the right side was not blown out quite so much, but I like how the darkness around the edges makes the image focused into the center, with the lake and trees there.

A beautiful, rural scene with lovely golden light. I think the image could be a little lighter except for the sky, which could be a little darker in the upper right corner! I would also like something in the foreground to give the photo a sense of depth. As it is, it looks very far away, like a vista shot with nothing up close to hang onto.

This is a finely lit scene, Graham, with the shadows emphasizing the lakes and the fields in the distance. The cloudy sky adds nicely to the mood. Is that a swan coming in to land above the lake towards the right?

What beautiful lighting! I like the way the shadowed bottom of the image acts almost as a frame or vignette for the rest; it also balances the darkness of the mountains.

A beautiful, rural scene with lovely golden light. I think the image could be a little lighter except for the sky, which could be a little darker in the upper right corner! I would also like something in the foreground to give the photo a sense of depth. As it is, it looks very far away, like a vista shot with nothing up close to hang onto.
