Black Skimmer

This is another of many images taken on my trip to the Pantanal in Brazil with Nate Chappell.  For this image I used my Nikon D810 camera, a 300 2.8 lens, f4, 1/5000, ISO 320.  I thought this shot showed a bit of attitude as the skimmer kicks up sand on his way down the beach.

Thanks for looking and critiques or comments appreciated.

I like this, May.  No mergers, good exposure and background, and the sand kick give the skimmer a little motion.

Looks like you had a very productive trip May. Another nice keeper. I like the flying sand!

Looks like he can't wait to get into the water blush

I really like the unusual angle of the beach along with complimentary background. Your exposure looks spot on too. Nice details!

Sweet One May!

Excellent kicking up the sand as he marches to the shore. Appears to be on a mission, another nice shot May.  Ray
