Trinity River Floods

Dallas has just recovered from two months of spring flooding and river levels are back to about normal.  This capture is normally a hardwood forest between levies about one mile wide that protect the city.  The city wants to put a toll roaod through parts of this area.  Crazy.............

Nice image Rick, of a bad situation.  Does not seem like the best route for any kind of road.

Beautiful capture, Rick. The foreground tree and its reflection is really nice. I don't know if it was possible, but adjusting the camera height just a little might have created more separation between the top of the tree and the horizon. Not a major nit, this is really a nice image.

Thanks Rob but I was on a bridge and at the very top of my tripod over my head and the angle you speak of and I would like to have had would take a drone.

Cool image, Rick.  It really conveys the idea of the floods while being a gorgeous image in and of itself.

Hey Rick,
This image conveys the beauty of nature and her power all at the same time.
