10 commentsSeriously good, Mark. I like this better than the dark moody images. I think you are really contributing to this gallery and others. I am glad to see you contributing commentary on other images as well. The comments and critiques from knowledeable members like yourself are the lifeblood of NPN, every bit as much as the images. A famous quote attributed to President Kennedy, "...a rising tide lifts all boats", applies here at NPN as well.
Keep up the good work!
Really nice colors and light, Mark. The bokeh is great. Very, very nice. I also like the greenery that you shot through to give this stem the feel of emerging...

A very striking image Mark. Very colourful evening colour and it is nice to see some detail in the background. Graham
Superb use of the light and tectured bg, Mark.
A beautiful photo again in your style, with a very good use of the special lens. I love it.
Excellent, Mark ! Great light and colour and, for me, the hints of grasses and plants in the fg and distance powerfully enrich the image.
Beautiful, Mark. I love the blurred textures of the foreground and bg and the light is wonderful. Excellent composition as well.
so good...a particular lens with its bokeh, a high-quality-great-colours sensor and the evident good taste in composition.
Good cocktail, no doubts, then very pleasurable image to my eyes.
All the best,
Sandro
