The Man Factor

Here is a man factor in nature. Man had tamed the elephant and all over it ..

I was able to get close enough to the elephant to get this picture.. rainy day.

Based on the comments, I am provideing some additional information. While elephants keep swaing the ears to keep themselves cool, the mahours leg was exposed during the waving of the ears. In the frame. By adding the representational factor of the mans leg, I am able to convey the relationship between man and nature. It being a forced relationship, as man has ended up taming the beast for his interests.

Very subtle patterns and it took me a second to find the leg.  Good composition.  This would also work in BW.  Good job.

I like the idea on this Balan and the results are interesting. I agree with David that a B & W conversion would be worth a try. The out of focus ear movement is a shame and draws my attention, a wider view would improve that aspect IMO.

To me this image has a sense of mystery. It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at and to find the leg and foot. There is also a lot that keep my eye searching the image. Well seen and photographed.

The dot pattern adds a lot of interest and is very appealing. The concept with the foot entering the frame is somewhat unorthodox, but works, I would say. However, I think the blurred ear in mid-frame is a bit unfortunate, as it distracts from the other elements.

Very confusing elements forcing the viewer to really examine and analyze what is happening.  Although that can be a good thing it does lessen the impact of the image.  Possible solution:  cropping so you just show the area of the ear and foot?
