A detail abstract from a small river at Pjódvegur in Iceland a beautiful clear (very cold) sunlit sky gave a wonderful clean colour to the surface water.

Shot with a Sigma SD1M with a Mamyi RZ67 140mm Macro, 'F18', 0.5 sec. (See article HERE)

A larger view can be seen HERE

Cheers, Mark

A useful colour correction method which is needed with this camera / lens combination is HERE
The method is applicable to any lens system which creates a colour cast (due to ray angle issues for example) and as a nice add on corrects vignetting perfectly as well.

I like these types of waterscapes.  I would prefer a little more softness in the water.  I like the center of the image.  Maybe crop it to a "pano"?

I like the lines and color. A nice abstract. I also think a pano would work with this. It would accent the flow and lines more.

Hi Floyd, Richard, thanks for the comments.  I hadn't thought about it before but I think you're right a 2x1 pano probably would work better - Thanks for the hint cool
