Green and Gold

I like the way the pine is totally surrounded by the aspen and the meadow bushes. I almost titled it "Surrounded" but I wasn't sure if the title would come across.

I really like the color contrasts, here--the dry grass, and the aspens. The green pines standout well, especially the central one. The color looks spot-on and natural, and I like the composition. Nicely done, sir!

I agree, those two bigger pines are the key to setting this image off.  The golds are wonderful and there's a fine subtle contrast between the trees and the grasses, but those two pines really pull it all togather.  Well seen, Harley!

Wonderful, complementary gold/brown colors, Harley. Well composed and balanced between the noce foreground and equally beautiful bg.

I really like this one, Harley.  Captures the essence of the open country bordered by these wonderful stands of aspen interspersed with occasional evergreen.  Makes me want to be there......now!  Reallly nice

A lovely tonality in this image, Harley.  The textures of the yelow leaves pick up beautifully on those of the fg grasses - and the lone pine anchors the composition nicely.  Excellent work !!

Beautiful image, Harley, and so natural looking. I like the purplish hints in the FG shrubs.
