Excellent look at this striking, speckeled BF, Graham. Nice floral perch and bg.

Graham, nice wings, beautiful flower and great background. Like also the other insects in the flower. Lovely shot!

A fine look at this bf, Graham.  I especially like the hint of irridescence showing at the top of the far wing.  The bf's scales do seem a bit stark, which has me thinking that it may be oversharpened, or is this a large crop?

Hi Mark, This is about 80% of full frame and needed very little processing so I am unable to shed much light on what you are seeing. Graham

Realy sharp capture of the butterfly, Graham, with great textures in the wings, set against a lovely backdrop.  Well executed image !!
