Super shot, Luke. I love the angle you caught with that great eye contact. Excellent dof-sharp from bill tip to tail tip. I don't know if the slight blur on the wing tips is focus or motion, but it works well either way.

NIce shot, Luke. No complaints about this one. Color, position, sharpness, and exposure look great.

Fantastic action and clarity Luke. The slight motion blur at the wing tips adds to the scene.

Really nice capture, I love the color of these cranes. Great action and that pink just pops on the blue sky. Sharp details too.

Nice wingspread you managed here Luke. Good techs on this as well. Surprised you had wing blur at 1/2000, but I have never had the opportunity to shoot these guys, so they are probably faster than I thought. I don't mind the blur as it implies motion, but just surprised you got it at that SS.

That's one pretty pink spoonbill, Luke! You caught him midstroke in a form that really shows off those huge wing too. Exposure, colors and focus are all excellent and the wing tip blur just shows that he's flapping. Very nice capture!

Thanks all for the comments
Kurt - I believe it's more of a DOF issue than a blur issue. Their wings are pretty large so I believe they are well forward of the body and thus out of focus
