Farm Land

This picture is pretty typical of the Wisconsin farm land in the south west corner of the state. I always enjoy the wide open views when I'm on top of the hills and ridges. When out driving around in this area you can find many views like this one and I never get tired of seeing them. I just did a 18 x 40 inch print of this for a large health care facility in the area and really enjoyed how it looked. I hope the people there enjoy it as much as I do... and I think they will. Thanks for looking.

The light could not be any better for this pastoral scene, Nick. I'll bet the print is gorgeous.

It's a beautiful scene, Nick.  The mix of green fields and fall trees is gorgeous.

A very peaceful and lovely scene. The colors are great and it makes me want to be there.

Hi  Nick crying  What a delightful pastoral scene  .... the rolling  hills  with  the autumn  colored trees  will certainly make  for  a  beautiful  print.

The different lines add dynamism within this restful scene -- the road in the foreground, the row of trees marching upward from left to right, then the comparatively straight horizon (i.e., no mountain peaks). Nice color contrast too between the restful greens and the fall foliage of the trees.

A wonderful, idyllic image, Nick that really evokes the quiet beauty of this countryside.  I really like the gentle curves and lines and layers that draw the eye back, and that warm light dappling the land could not be better.  The 18x40 print you mention must be a jaw dropper.  Outstanding fine art photography, Nick.

Thanks Vance! The finished framed print is now hanging at the health care facility and will be moved into the new building as soon as it is finished. They sound very happy with it. Thanks, Nick
