The day's very last sunlight strikes the east ridge of Mt. Conness just outside of Yosemite NP... a shoulder of North Peak in the foreground. I liked the verticals and horizontals in this tele shot.

The little bit of sunlit rock certainly gets your attention but I also love all the detail in the shadows of this scene. An excellent job on the exposure and a very different landscape, Dave!

Love the ruggedness that is displayed in your compostion Dave and that sliver of sunlight contrasts nicely with the starkness around it. Nice details in the shadow areas too, with interesting horizontal rock veins prominent and the different hues of the stone captured well.

A neat juxtaposition of the distant ridge with it's sliver of sunlight and the foreground shoulder, Dave. I'm intrigued by the fact that even though the larger version isn't any larger, it has much more presence and detail. Well seen.

Excellent, Dave. Just the bit of light really makes this one pop.
