I really liked the mutiple layers of different vegetation, color and light. Quite the mix.

Hi Harley,

This image is purely AWESOME in my book. The depth this image has, and the wonderful layers of color, light and texture is again AWESOME!!!

One of my favorite Fall images this year!!!

Harley, Wow, This is fantastic. The large version is absolutely wonderful to view. Perfect comp with beautiful light and color. I can't help but think this would make one awesome print. I would love to see it at 30 x 45 inch or at least 24 x 36. Beautiful!!!

Beautiful lines on the column of trees riding the hill, and great splashes in the background.  Wondering if a little more light in the foreground cover would enhance anything. Certainly like as is though. A wonderful Fall image, Harvey.

Best of this bunch in my mind, Harley, and that's saying a lot because each has been exquisite. Kudos!

Just enough light and shadow to carry me all the way thru this most excellent fall image.  Man you had a good trip.  Really nice Harley.

Well, now; this is real nice, sir! The layers of color and light and dark work very well. I like the inclusion of the sage and rabbit brush in the foerground.

I saw all the positive comments and logged to see what all the excitement is about. Very nice Harley. Really nice. The composition is good and all those warm tones really go well. I agree that the fg bushes came out really well and the distinct white lines running across from one side to the other creates a great pattern. Generally speaking I think this composition is stronger than the lone tree image because it's more complex but the trees in the shadows were done to perfection in that one. No nits from me. Well, maybe I can make a small suggestion. And that would be to dodge that sunny upper right area to be of the brightness of the fg brush. This looks a lot like Conway Summit, but it really could be many places in the Sierras.

The details here are amazing, Harley.  The profusion of textures, colors and lighting are best seen in the larger version.  They create a great sense of being there.  I expect that this just gets better and better as it is shown larger and larger.
