The vehicle Ken and I were suookied with in Ethiopia was to say the least useless for photigraphy and we were limited to one photographer at a time through a small window oprning, luckily I chose the right side most days.
Found only in Africa within Ethiopian Highlands this was taken in Simien Mountains National Park.

Welcome to NPN and the avian gallery, Helena. This is an excellent image. I like the angle and the Raven being on that mound makes for a sweet bg and yet has some nice vegetation in the foreground to provide habitat context. The exposure on the black plumage looks excellent (though I'm not on a calibrated monitor right now). My only suggestion might be to add a little extra light to the eye.

I'm glad to have you aboard and look forward to seeing more of your work.

Really neat bird Helena and wonderfully presented. I like your choice of composition- offering a very smooth creamy background, and has Dennis has noted, enough ground cover to show habitat. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
