This is another from the Yosemite trip a couple of weeks ago. I got up early and caught some meadow fog amongst the mostly bare trees.

Harley, this is yet another lovely composition from your trip, which I'm sure was very enjoyable and rewarding for you. I like that you included the small tree on the right. It adds an element of interest.

I like scenes like this. I would agree with Jims comment about the inclusion of the right tree. My only suggestion might be to make the bare trees a little whiter while leaving the evergreen background dark as is.

Really nice, Harley. Love these ghost trees. No nits from me, I wouldn't change a thing.

Mr. H.,
Ditto to including the tree on the right. It adds just a little tension to an other wise quite and tranquil scene.
I love the image Harley. My only suggestion now that I've seen this a few times, might be to increase the white/lightness of the bare trees a little. But then, just viewing the larger image and I don't get that impression any more, so never mind.

This is real nice, Mr. H.. Your composition is quite lovely. I agree that the small tree on the right adds a nice touch, and I also like the small tree tree on the left. As hsa been said, I too think the high values in the tree could be brought up some, but the mist looks and the medow tones look just fine. You had some really nice light, while I was lounging in the bag.
Well done, sir!

The "negative" effect presented by this image is indeed very cool. The layered fog adds a degree of mystery. Nice.

Very evocative image with the fog and bare trees, Harley. Excellent subject for B&W.

I love this one. The detail on the bare branches is gorgeous, and I the way it slowly fades into the fog brings it out even more.

Ghostly white trees rising from the mist. Very dreamy despite the feeling of coldness. Like it. I think a slight crop below, only keeping the white layers, might also work.

Love that thin line of mist on top of the main part! This is excellent, no nits.

I like this and as well think the little tree adds a lot, even though it is quite small. I agree with bumping the whites against the dark background.
