Gorgeous light and the creek in the foreground adds a lot to the image, Mark.  I like the way you framed it.

Mark, I've always liked this POV on this image. I really like this one. I've seen many takes on the Cathedral Rocks, but only recall seeing your take from this spot. I'm sure there are others, but I do not recall them right off hand. With that all said this is a very impressive image and is at the top of list for me from your very fine collection.......laugh

The warm light on the rocks is gorgeous and seems to be reflected in the water as well for an extra touch. I like the detail in the rocks too. Having never been to any of these places out West I don't think of them as "friendly" -- they seem so vast and remote -- but you've captured "friendliness here and I like it a lot. Nicely framed with the contrasting texture/color of the trees too.

A beautifully captured scene Mark.  Think I missed this on our brief visit to Sedona years ago.  The location is especially great...water always makes for a super foreground, and the treeline perfectly frames the red rocks while not intruding on them.  I'm wondering if a bit slower shutter speed would have given the river a more "silky" flow?  This would have made my annual calender.laugh
