Spotted this pheasant in a field some distance from where I was doing some macro photography.  Fortunately a dirt road on the side of the field provided the means to get closer to the bird in my van.  The OOF items are stems from plant matter I had to shoot through.

Canon T3i
1/250 @ F-4 ISO 200
Canon 100mm 2,8 macro
HH
This is a very large crop

The pheasant and the grass look good, John, however the interferring stems in front do just that, interfere.  Darn game birds, just won't stand out in the open for us photogs....

Amazing shot for a 100mm macro lens, John.  Well done.
