Douglas Fir
by Dennis Plank
I was out looking for subjects between rain showers last Friday and liked the looks of the drops on the Doug Fir needles.
5D3, Canon 180mm f3.5 macro, tripod, f/32, 1/80 sec, iso 3200, aperture priority, pattern metering. The branch was swayuing just a bit in the breeze, but I was lucky enough to have the sun peek through a bit and give me enough light to get the shutter speed up a bit. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped a bit from the right and bottom to get a more appealing break point on the right. Taken December 4th at 9:00 am.
I appreciate your comments on the froste oak leaf and look forward to your input on this one.
Thanks,

4 commentsDennis, good plane of focus management, beautiful rain drops and background. I would have liked to see the rain drops from the other side, but this works very well as is.
