A Lilly of the Valley shot fom this year. This time withe the Sigma 180mm Macro (rather than an antique lens).  The final light from the setting sun breaking through the forest provided the atmosphere I was looking for.  A 'warmer' image for colder nights ;-)

A larger view can be found HERE.

Sigma SD1M, 180mm Macro, F2.8, 1/60 sec. ISO 100

Cheers, Mark

Mark,

the image looks very artistical and that is what I like about it. Well done.

Interesting image with the rather painterlylook of most of your work, Mark.  I do find myself wishing for just a tiny bit more dof as the one oof foreground bell just to the right of the in-focus cluster keeps drawing my eye.

Hi Mark!

This is a very dramatic scene.  I like the soft lighting on the blooms against the hot background colors.  I like your very distinct style in your flora work.  Very nice!

Hi  markcrying   I see  dynamic  light and colors.  but  this  is the only  post  i  like  but dont  love......  i feel  tension  in the composition between the leaf  and the  lilly..
