Do You Mind?

Was my first impression of this bird's expression. I got the distinct impression that it was not pleased to have someone observing its bath.
Mike Ramy was nice enough to remind me that this is my 1000's post. I chose this subject because I believe my first Avian post was a White-crowned Sparrow (though my first NPN post was a flower) and by far the majority of my posts have been in this gallery. When I first started, I had no idea that I would ever get this involved or come close to posting this many images, but the photography is a wonderful hobby and I've found a lot of joy in sharing it. While it does feel like an accomplishment to have posted this many images, I'm far more proud of the number of comments I've made on other's images, some of which have hopefully been worthwhile.
7D2, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4 TC, Jobu Gimbal on RRS legs, f/8, 1/640, iso 640, aperture priority, pattern metering. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped from a horizontal original to 4x5 vertical with a final size of 5.96 Mpixels (almost full frame for the camera I started out with on this website). I cloned out a few rather birght oof grass tems poking into the bottom of the frame. Taken June 26, 2015 at 8:14 pm in our back yard.
As always, I appreciate your comments.
I hope you all have a great holiday,
Thanks,
