This started out with a photo of smoke, then morphed from there. I've never played the game Angry Birds, just heard the name, but somehow it fit this image.

I like this, Kathy. The smoke by itself is a really cool image and the gulls do seem to add a nice touch.

This is wonderful, Kathy! The wispy, curling smoke and background color changes look great and are very ethereal. The birds are a neat idea as well, especially with the size changes creating a good sense of perspective. As I look at this, contrast between the sharp birds and the wispy smoke catches my attention. That has me wondering about adding the birds through layers with different opacities to adjust the strength of their presence.
