I start the new year with a portrait full of light of the Osteospermum my favorite flower.
Taken back lit on the sill of the kitchen window.

I am grateful for your opinions and help.

Hi Gigi,

The high key presentation works very well with this Osteospermum.  Center of the flower has some amazing detail and contrasting color. Well donedevil......................Jim

Beautiful high-key presentation, Gigi. The blue center against all the white is very striking, and I even like the look of the stem and small leaf. devil

ps, congrats on the 2015 1st place EP. devil

A beautiful flower, beautifully portrayed, Gigi.  I don't have any nits on this one.  Well done.

The purity of your presentation highlighted by the white  b/g and flawless petals and structure makes this seem like it was borrowed from the Garden of Eden for our enjoyment.  Well done.  Too bad that, "grass withers, and the flowers fall off..."   Ken S

The beautiful rendering of this makes it clear you love this flower, Gigi !  Superb graphic quality, and a crisp capture of that lovely blue and yellow centre.
