We saw the cub on 3 out of 4 days, but had to find it each day as mum was moving it regularly, one day I spotted Mum at the same time as our tracker.
It always pays to get a privet guide especially when you have used hin since 2005,
Taken in Kwara concession, Botswana, in low light.

EOS 1DX
200-400 mm F4 at 412 mm
F6.3
ISO 1600

Ken,

what a luck you have had to find this cute cub. I said it already a few times, since I moved to DSLR I have had noc chance to take a picture of leopards wink

I like the curiosity of look of the cub which I find to be typical for youngsters. The depth of field has been well selected by you so that the face is in perfect focus and therefore nicely isolated from the rest of the subject in the image. I may have tried a even closer setup in vertical mode to isolate the cub even more stronger.

Technically a good image, with sharpness right on and fine exposure.

Good grief that is ONE CUTE KITTEN! Ok, ok, cub. Remarkable tenderness implied in the shot as well. Nice work!

Wow this was just too cute to not comment on. I love the colours on the young leopard and the whole picture.
