Rockin It on T-Pass

That's "Rockin It on Thompson Pass".  The title block doesn't have enough characters.

Jake is a rescue mutt of unknown origin and although he is quite small compared to our other dogs he keeps up on the long hikes and is quite adventurous.

Sony ILCE-6000, SEL 55-210 @ 55mm, ISO-100, f/13.0, 1/500, hand held.

He certainly looks enthusiastic in this fine portrait, Gary.  Looks like he's wondering why you're standing still when there's so much wonderful landscape to explore.

Hi Gary,

That's a great shot--a BW dog and lots of alpine scenery........................Jim

That is an interesting-looking dog, somehow friendly yet business-like. The framing of the portrait and depth of field work very well!

I like the subject on the rock and the great background.  Your friend has that look in his eye that he is ready to go, with the tail in the air.

Man I love your dog-scapes, Gary! This is a classic! Besides having great-looking dogs, you sure take them to great-looking places (and then knock it out of the park behind the camera once there)! Killer enviro-portrait.
