Hi all.

I think this one has a much more favorable crop for the suggestions from Mark, Phil, and Bill.

I think this was the same plant, same bloom as my last post - just a tighter shot.

Any and all thoughts appreciated!

Nathan

This is very nice, Nathan. I prefer this comp over DD1 mostly because the center of the flower is not in the LRC. I try to avoid flowers leaning or looking out of the frame, and this was an issue for me in DD1, but I like this comp. The colors are excellent and I like the shallow dof and the pof. Well done.

OK Nathan I consider this a new photo and I like it much more. I love the narrow focus on the stamens and the soft, elegant, romantic color of the petals. Beautiful for me.

Nathan: Just what the doctor orderedcool. Love the POF and color palette. My only suggestion would be to tone down the green in the stem but that's a 1¢ nit. Well done.>=))>

Well composed and an excellent minimalist DOF. Much better than DD 1.devil

Hi Nathan, thumbs up for this one! Great shot - actually prefer DOF in this shot as well compared to DD1.
Cheers, Mark

A lovely image, Nathan.  The only suggestion I might have it to take just enough off the top to have the petal pleat on the left exit at the corner, thus getting your sharply focused elements just a bit off vertical center.  However, that's very minor and is just my taste.
