Love the interplay of the two trees that are losing their grip on the opposite shores. A classic and very well rendered autumn scene, tranquil and moody as it only gets in autumn.

Hi Scott Roel's comment echoed my thoughts perfectly.... yes! "tranquil and moody as it only gets in autumn" .. the quintesential autumn scene .

Nice fall scene. The leaning tree adds just the right amount of tension and frames the distant tree nicely.

Beautiful autumn scene, Scott! Great comp and the water is beautiful with the colorful reflections. I love the colorful fallen leaves on the ground, rocks, and water.

I'll echo the other's thoughts plus I like the low angle of view.

Scott,
This is down right outstanding. Such a quiet and contemplative autumn scene. Perfectly composed, perfectly balanced and perfectly processed.
I love eveything about this image and I have no nits or suggestions. Ok, one wish. I wish it were mine!

I like this because it reminds me of a painting by Constable; you're lucky to have somewhere close by that is so beautiful. I think I would make this my regular haunt, it's wonderful as it is, but I can visualize it with some early morning, low lying mist. Of course that's my problem, I'm never satisfied.

A wonderfully pleasant, gentle look along this stream in early fall, Scott. The scattered fall leaves in the foreground and the light fog add some great atmospherics. What a fine local spot.
