Eagle Pre-Launch

This is the same Eagle as my last post, same branch. I was able to get a little closer for this one and avoid the trees. He left the perch only to fly in a wide circle and land again. I liked the intent look in his/her eye. This is about a 70% of FF. Underexposed 1/3 stop to try to hold detail in the whites.

Excellent pose, Steve. There's a lot of energy in this. Exposure of the eagle looks good, though the sky is a bit dark. That's not unusual when you're controlling for the whites.

Not an easy exposure in full sun but this looks excellent Steve. I like the pose you've captured here and the aggressive look.
