Another one with some wonderful atmospherics, Mike. This one just has a nice tranquil mood to it with the mist gliding through the trees. My only suggestion would be to tone down the ULC just a touch. Is this one you were able to recover from the hard drive?

Similar to the other comments this has a wonderful moody quality. Comp. looks good and love the beautiful tonalities of green from the lichen to the foliage.

Michael,

Hard to deviate from the theme of mood and atmosphere.  this has it in spades.  I also think there is a bit of mystery, even a bit of a haunting feeling - like I wouldn't walk any further than I could see...

I would agree about burning down the ULC just to keep the tone and exposure the same as the rest.

Great opportunities in these conditions and you took advantage beautifully.

Very nicely mysterious, with the trees showing so gently through the fog.  The overall green/yellow cast adds a good sense of lusciousness.  I too could see some burning in the ulc and along the right edge.

Michael, One really needs to look at the the larger view because it really comes alive there. This is really nice and I love the misty and quiet mood. I agree about the ulc as well and other than that it just looks great.

Went there once in fall. it was rainy and socked in like this then too. I like the atmosphere in this a lot. seems slightly green casted to my eye though?mostly on the two main trees with lighter bark/lichen.

Hi Michael,

This is a beautiful view of these trees with a wonderful mood conveyed by the foggy weather. The greens look great oin this capture, and I find the moss? growing on the trees interesting. I like the idea of toning down the ULC of the image. This has a overall great feel about it's nature with the foggy greens.
