A snowy ride

This is my second post. Thanks to all the feedback on my first post.

This is a photo of a horse taking a rider for a ride on a rare snowy day in London, Hyde park.

I like this photo because it looks very peaceful, a juxtaposition as just several hundred metres away from the chaos of Harrods and the nearby South Kensington shopping district.

Comments very welcome, especially lightroom/photoshop comments as I only auto adjusted this photo in lightroom then sharpened and cropped this photo in photoshop.

I very much like the way this scene is composed.  The inclusion of the fence shows that this photo was not taken "out in the country" and adds just enough sense of an urban setting. This might be an interesting photo to experiment with a B&W conversion.

Nice job, thanks for posting it!

I love the peaceful, wintriness of this, and for me, the two riders and the nearly equidistant repeating pattern of the fence line really makes this special.  I can't decide whether I like the scraggly branches hanging down from the trees.  On one hand, they are a natural vignette, but on the other hand, they distract and I just want to get out my pole-pruner and do a little community service indecision.  It could work as a pano, I think, or you could selectively clone a few branches out to tidy up the tree, or you could keep it as is, since it is quite nice as presented.

Ditto on the B/W option.  It would be interesting to see it portrayed that way as it would extend the sense of timelessness it already has.
