Waiting for Summer

A late March snowstorm last year provided me with this scene. There wasn't much color in the original, other than the colors of the bikes showing partially through the snow and the red of the reflectors. I desaturated the image totally, then in PSP re-added the red and orange of the reflectors.

I had originally titled this 'Side by Each', but at the moment, 'Waiting for Summer' sounded more appropriate as it's snowing yet again!LOL

Ditto great concept Toni. I would wind up passing on this scene, but love the strong image you made out of it. I guess what I'm saying is that I appreciate this image you made FAR better than I could ever make it myself.

I really like this one, Toni! It reminds me of a cover you would find on The New Yorker magazine :)

I really like this image. It would make a great "I miss you" card, the bikes almost seem to have personalities. Good eye to have even seen it. I also like that the snow covered limbs in the BG echo the spokes of the wheels. :toast:

Thank you
The minute I saw this scene I ran for my camera, as I had been wanting to capture something like this for a long time.
